Refund Policy

Thank you for supporting Courage & Co. and our mission to help every child dream without limits. Because our books are created in small batches — and many orders are pre-ordered, sponsored, or made-to-request — we have a clear refund policy to ensure fairness and transparency.

Physical Books

We accept returns only for damaged or defective books.
If your order arrives damaged, email connect@courageandco.org within 7 days with:

  • Order number
  • Photos of the damage
  • Brief description

We will send a replacement at no cost.

We do NOT offer refunds for:

  • Change of mind
  • Incorrect address entered at checkout
  • Shipping delays by carriers

Sponsored Books – Sponsor a Story Program

Sponsorships are non-refundable. Sponsorship covers:

  • Printing
  • Packaging
  • Delivery to partner sites
  • Admin + coordination costs
  • Donor tracking
  • Materials used for community distribution

Once submitted, it cannot be reversed.

Pre-Orders

Pre-orders are final sale and non-refundable.
Funds go directly toward printing and production.
Damaged items will be replaced.

Lost or Missing Packages

We assist with filing claims, but are not responsible for:

  • Packages marked “delivered”
  • Wrong shipping addresses provided by customer

Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges at this time.
